Following a long and successful full-time career in broadcasting and the non-profit sector, Nancy became an independent public relations consultant in 2007. She is a regular member of the KSA team.

Nancy brings to clients recognized expertise in planning and directing communications campaigns, community outreach and business partnerships, and writing and editing skills. She has a proven ability to lead and work effectively with diverse management teams and has an established reputation for detailed follow-through in project management.

Nancy collaborated with the KSA team on various client projects including Hospital Sisters Health System and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. Currently, she supervises and consults with staff on many agency accounts.

Nancy has the unique experience of working in as well as with the media. She began her career as a publicist at WBBM-TV and remained in broadcasting when she moved to WTTW to become the Manager of National Media. Next, Nancy followed her interest in women’s and children’s issues to the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago (IWS) as Manager of Public Relations and, ultimately, to the March of Dimes Illinois Chapter as State Director of Communications.

Nancy’s excellent work was acknowledged with a Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago for the IWS annual report. While at the March of Dimes she received the Chapter of the Year Award for Excellence in Communications, the Northern Region Chapter of the Year Award for Excellence in Communications and the Northern Region Staff Excellence Award.

In addition to her association with KSA, Nancy is media relations consultant for Voices for Illinois Children and a member of the adjunct faculty at Robert Morris University Institute of Culinary Arts.

Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. A resident of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, she and her husband enjoy entertaining, bike riding, and traveling, especially to France.
