Account Executive

An innovative thinker and storyteller, Jennifer works with KSA’s clients to develop the best communications strategies to meet their needs. Through smart, tailored campaigns, she aspires to share her clients’ stories and raise awareness of their issues with their target audiences and the media.

Jennifer uses her journalism background and public relations experience to deliver exceptional results through effective issues-oriented communications and media outreach campaigns for KSA’s association and nonprofit clients.

Jennifer helped to develop and implement a strategic communications plan to help establish the Adler School of Professional Psychology and its faculty as thought leaders and spread awareness for the school’s programs and initiatives to improve the mental health of individuals and communities. She also takes the lead on client service for Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) and Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC).

Jennifer secured extensive broadcast and print coverage for the opening of Little Company of Mary Hospital’s West Pavilion patient tower and Comprehensive Women’s Center for Life and Health and coordinated public open house meetings for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) to inform and gain input from the community about CTA projects.

Before joining the KSA team, Jennifer gained media relations, client positioning, branding and social media experience working with small business and nonprofit clients at Caruso Communications in Chicago. At Independent Publishers Group (IPG), Jennifer worked on publicity campaigns and created media materials to obtain positive media buzz for IPG’s books and publishers.

While studying journalism at the University of Missouri, Jennifer developed a thorough knowledge of print and online media. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish at Missouri and studied abroad in Alicante, Spain, pursuing her interest in Spanish culture and language.

Jennifer lives in Lakeview, and volunteers at Open Books, where she helps customers at the bookstore and mentors youth through the organization’s literacy programs.
